Tony Chittettukalam is an accomplished author who has penned more than 50 books across various genres including Novel, Children’s Literature, Celebrity Biographies, Investigative Stories, Inspirational Literature etc. He is the recepient of the prestigious K Thayatt award for Childrens literature (2021), Muthukulam K Raghavanpillai award (2026) and now short listed for Don Books Crime Fiction Novel Award (2026, about to be declared). As a Director, his debut feature film Chakkaramaavin Kombathu (2017) was selected for the first-ever International Children’s Film Festival of Kerala (ICFFK). As an entrepreneur, he is the founder of the LIFELYNE Group of Companies, an “A” Class Government Contracting firm engaged in construction, event management, publishing, and media. His work embodies clarity and purpose, defining excellence in storytelling, direction, and business foundations.

About

Born in Changanacherry, Kottayam, Tony Chittettukalam’s career began in Journalism, right after his B.Sc Botany Final Year Exams, working as Sub Editor of “Karshakan” magazine from Deepika, the first Malayalam Daily

He was the Editor of "Folia berchmancia," the first departmental magazine in the history of colleges in Kerala.

He worked with Deepika until 2005, resigning as the Editor in Charge of the first International Edition, "Deepika Europe."

He later served as the News Editor of "Malayalee Sangamam," a Global Malayalam News Weekly published from Chicago, USA.

He is a recipient of the NORIWET Award for Investigative Reporting for his series on unwedded mothers from the tribal districts of Kerala.
